YTP (Youth Travel Partners)’s main concern and competence is quality development of youth travel. We are engaged at different levels of the hospitality industry especially.

YTP are committed partners or members of key travel organisations and support the development of quality standards of youth accommodation (in Europe so far). Our milestone certainly is the First Youth and Student Accommodation (www.ysaw.org) we have organized August, 2005 in Berlin.

We provide consulting and possibly active support to existing and future youth accommodation on:

• Operative activities, i.e. check of accommodation hardware, software and related processes, recommendation of competent specialized service providers.
• Sales and marketing activities, i.e. identification of potential markets and strategies, representation at trade events, support of communication to press and potential partners, development of marketing activities with new and existing partners.
• Project development, i.e. finding new business ventures and associates, consulting on location and concept.

Our service includes tailor made staff and management coaching based on a first visit on site to identify the “real” thematics. Our starting package depends on the type and size of the property, i.e we charge hostels 2 EUR per bed plus tax and transportation, typically including:

• Detailed visit of the property,
• Conversation with key staff of management, front desk, reservation, sales, kitchen
• In the aftermath of the visit YTP provides a quick summary of the accommodation profile including identified sensible areas. We then discuss together possible solutions.
